We at Family Life exist as a group of families growing together in Christ and meeting the needs of other families in Penns Valley by strengthening the home through practical preaching, serving others and meaningful worship of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is…

God is…

• Eternal, having always existed outside of time and space – Isaiah 43:10

• A single being consisting of three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – Matthew 28:19

Jesus is…

• The eternal Son of God – Revelation 1:8

• Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin – Matthew 1:23

• One who ultimately restored mankind from sin – 1 Corinthians 15:3

• Raised from the dead and seated with the Heavenly Father – Matthew 28:6

The Holy Spirit is…

• Present to make people aware of their need for Jesus – Acts 11:14-16

• Present to empower the believer to live the Christian life – Acts 1:4 & 8.

Mankind is…

• Made is the image of God – Genesis 1:6-27

• Fallen due to willful wrong choices – Genesis 2:17 & 3:6

• Destined for eternal separation from God – Romans 5:12-19

• Provided an opportunity to reconcile to God through Jesus Christ – John 19

• Invited to accept Christ, repent of sin, and make a fresh start – Romans 10:9-15

The Church is…

• The body of Christ that consists of all Christians – Revelation 19:10

• On a three-fold mission of up-reach, in-reach, and out-reach – Ephesians 4:12

Divine Healing is…

• An integral part of the gospel and a privilege for all believers – James 5:14-16

• Provided for in the Atonement – Isaiah 53:4-5 and Matthew 8:16-17

The Future is…

• Hopeful to those ready for the return of Christ – 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

• Bright for the Christian because of eternal life with God – 2 Peter 3:13
